# Welcome to the Bulgarian Olympic System (BOS)

## Overview

BOS is a system made for organizing and managing programming competitions. It has a lot of user roles for organizing the workflow around the competitions, supports a variety of tasks and can use cloud or local resources for running programs. BOS is intended to be used in the cloud but it is still possible to be used locally.

The main elements are the following:

* users
* tasks
* competitions
